[LABEL06406] Turing joins Percival to craft a love letter to those dark, lonely nights

On a cold November night in 2015, Turing (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and Percival manifested what would become “Interval.” Turing has been crafting his lush dub tones since mid-2015, having first appeared on LABEL’s “Memento Mori” Halloween compilation.

Percival’s deep and delicate sounds have been a staple of LABEL since January 2015. His full-length album, “2014/15,” is LABEL’s best-selling release of 2016.

Their warm and electrifying story is met on “Interval”, where analog percussion cuts through a chilling balance of ethereal sounds.

Turing and Percival’s efforts have been complemented by a trio of sonic “Late Night” re-engineers. First, Martin Stürtzer (aka Phelios) (Eternal Soul Records) intensifies the dub soundscape, while Heavenchord (Axiomatic Records) and El Choop (ETUI Records) reintroduce the minimal funk of the original track.

The artwork for “Interval”, designed by Joshua McAllister of LABEL, made the front page of Reddit’s r/graphic_design community. It currently sits at number sixty-nine of the top one hundred posts.
